What workpieces suit thermal management cleaning equipment?
It serves automotive thermal management and AI liquid cooling components with internal flow channels — cold plate cleaning, oil cooler cleaning, water/liquid cooling plate cleaning, manifold cleaning, flow plate and end cap cleaning, plus heat exchangers, electric water pumps, coolant pipelines and quick-disconnect components — covering both the flow-channel cavity and exterior surfaces. Lines are custom-built to workpiece geometry, cycle time and cleanliness class.
How is cleanliness verified under ISO 16232 / VDA 19.1?
The extraction liquid after cleaning is analyzed by membrane filtration, reporting both particle size distribution (particle counts per size band) and residual contaminant mass. Note that ISO 16232 is a component-cleanliness standard — do not confuse it with cleanroom standard ISO 14644 or hydraulic-fluid contamination standard ISO 4406. The limits are defined by the OEM or Tier 1 in drawings or specifications, and our equipment can be aligned with the customer's cleanliness limits and inspection workflow.
How are metal chips and micron particles removed from internal flow channels?
Targeted flushing/spraying plus multi-stage rinsing, with nozzles, pressure and flow designed around the channel geometry, plus controlled water quality and cleaning media. Automatic in-line tray transfer reduces manual handling and recontamination. Cycle time is programmable at roughly 30–180 seconds per piece, residual particle size is referenced at ≤ 200 μm, and cleanliness data is logged automatically.
What cleaning media does the equipment support?
Both aqueous cleaning and solvent cleaning routes are supported, configurable by contaminant type and cleanliness class; drying uses hot air plus vacuum to avoid residual moisture in flow-channel cavities.
Can the cleaning equipment integrate with MES and provide per-piece traceability?
Yes. The equipment logs key process parameters and cleanliness results under a per-piece UID with full key-parameter history, and offers Profinet / OPC UA protocols for MES/SCADA integration.
Is this standard equipment or custom-built? What is the process and lead time?
Equipment is custom-built to workpiece structure, cycle-time targets and cleanliness class, and has been delivered and validated at a leading domestic thermal management Tier 1 supplier. The process covers requirements consultation, design review, manufacturing, in-house FAT, on-site installation and SAT ramp-up; lead time is assessed per project.
